Come ogni anno, il giorno prima delle nomination ai Premi Oscar ci sono le nomination ai Razzie Awards.

Sono state rese note le candidature per i famigerati Golden Raspberry Awards, che tradizionalmente premiano il peggio dell'annata cinematografica appena trascorsa.

Nella 46ª edizione del particolare "premio" che nessuno vuole vincere non mancano nomi eccellenti, come ogni anno. 

Questa edizione è caratterizzata da due film che hanno preso più nomination degli altri: 6 a testa per due versioni di storie già viste, ovvero La guerra dei mondi con Ice Cube e il Biancaneve live action Disney. 

Subito dietro con 5 a testa ci sono Hurry Up Tomorrow e Star Trek: Section 31. 

I Razzies sono votati da 1202 membri, tra spettatori e professionisti dell'industria cinematografica, che scelgono ciò che ritengono "meno meritevole" dell'annata cinematografica appena passata: come di consueto la cerimonia avverrà la notte precedente a quella dei Premi Oscar.
